Chief Education Officer Udhampur Smt. Geetu Bangotra inaugurated kindergarten block at Govt. HSS Battal Balian Udhampur on 02-05-2023 . She was accompanied by DEPO Udhampur Smt. Girija Challu,AD planning Udhampur Sh. Darshan Kumar and Principal of GHSS Battal Balian Smt. Neeru Bala. Principal, Staff members and students gave warm welcome to the worthy madam on her arrival in the school premises. Just after the inauguration, students of pre-primary classes were very exited to see the newly created beautiful kindergarten made for them. Students were welcomed in the kindergarten block by worthy CEO madam herself and she distributed sweets among them and the staff members. Admissions of few students in the pre-primary classes were also made by the worthy CEO Smt. Geetu Bangotra. She spend few moments with these little buds in their room and interacted with them.
A cultural programme was also organized in the school premises on this special day. Various cultural items like dance,song,yoga etc were presented by the students of different classes. Large number of parents of the students were also present in the function.
Worthy Chief Education Officer Smt. Geetu Bangotra appreciated the work of the principal of the institution Smt. Neeru Bala and staff for their efforts in shaping the career of the students both in academics as well as co-curricular activities and expressed satisfaction over their way of working . In her address to the students she said that students are the future of our country and as per NEP 2020, every effort is being made by the department to give best education to all the children so that they can become assets of the country and can lead the country in the coming future in different ways.She said that we all must work hard to enroll each and every child in the school .
In the end Principal of the school Smt. Neeru Bala presented the vote of thanks to worthy Chief Education Officer Smt. Geetu Bangotra and other dignitaries accompanying her.
