Slain police inspector’s family meets Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow, December 6: After four days, the family of the slain police inspector met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his residence here on Thursday.

Wife, son and sister of Syana Station House Officer Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh went to the 5, Kalidas Marg, residence of Yogi’s official residence.

Minister in charge of Etah Atul Garg and MLA from Aliganj in Etah Satyapal Singh Rathore accompanied them.
DGP OP Singh was also present at the CM’s residence.

The family and villagers were angry and were not allowing the cremation to take place at their ancestral village of Taregawan in Etah demanding the presence of CM Yogi.

Yogi had earlier announced a compensation of Rs 40 lakh for the widow and Rs 10 lakh for the inspector’s parents.

The slain inspector’s widow Rajni had threatened to commit suicide if the culprits were not punished.

She had alleged of a conspiracy due to which her husband was done away with in a planned manner.
