POWER SHUT DOWN AGAIN IN JAMMU

JAMMU, MAY 12: As per Superintending Engineer Elect. Maintt & RE Circle, Kathua, to carry out routine maintenance of 66/11 KV 1×10 MVA R/Stn. Hatli Village and 66/11 KV, 1×20 MVA R/Stn, IID, maintenance of line isolators of 66 KV line and branch cutting under corridor of 66 KV line, the shutdown of 66 KV Hatli Village line is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to IID Centre, Htali, Rassoh, Dukhat, Bijit, Manjli, Khnyra, Hote-Mangote, Mrhtabpur, Maroli and jagatpur-Metandi shall remain affected on May 13 from 9 am to 1 pm.

Similarly, to carry out routine maintenance works by way of branch cutting under the line corridor of feed No. 4, Hiranagar-Channi-Marheen-Pharpur Line, tightening of jumpers and 66 KV line isolator at Receiving Station Marheen, the shutdown of 66 KV Feeder No-4, Hiranagar-Channi-Marheen-Pharpur line is also being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Hiranagar City, Rajbagh, Hiranagar Hospital, Channi, Marhen, BSF Chakra, Pharpur, Bobiya, Chandwan, Kot Punnu, Hariya Chack etc will remain affected on May 16 from 9 am to 1 pm.

Meanwhile, to remove the hot spot of isolators clamps, CT clamps, breakers clamps, tightening of loose jumpers, etc, the shutdown of 132 KV Sidhra-I & Sidhra-II line is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Sidhra, Janipur & Jhajjar Kotli and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 13 from 6 am to 8 am.

However, for shifting of utilities of 11 KV SC-5 feeder coming in the alignment of construction of deep drain nallahs, the shutdown of 33 KV Channi-Sainik Colony Line is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Channi, Sainik Colony and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 13 from 9 am to 10 am.

Likewise, to execute the work of replacement of damaged and tilted poles, the shutdown of 11 KV G-3 and G-6 feeders is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Industrial area Gangyal, Marbel Market, Swaran Vihar, Langer, Greater Jammu, Ambica Colony and its adjoining areas will remain affected on May 13 from 10 am to 3 pm.
