Muzaffarnagar, Sep 26 : A woman police constable allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her room in the Kotwali area here Wednesday, police said.
Body of Anita Singh was found hanging from the ceiling of her room in Saket locality, said SHO D K Tyagi.
Anita, hailing from Aligarh, had joined the Uttar Pradesh police in 2016 and was currently posted at Kotwali police station, he said.
Police said they have registered a case and are investigating the matter.PTI
