Mumbai, October 15: Another customer of the PMC bank died on Tuesday. The customer Fattomal Punjabi, aged 59, died due to a heart attack at 12:30 pm. He was a resident of Mulund.

Around 95 per cent of the people living in Mulund colony have accounts in the PMC bank.

It comes a day after 51-year-old man, Sanjay Gulati, died from a cardiac arrest on Monday after returning home from a protest against the PMC Bank scam.

Sanjay Gulati, a resident of Taporewala Gardens in Mumbai’s Oshiwara, was an account holder in the disgraced PMC Bank. He had deposits worth Rs 90 lakhs in the Oshiwara branch of the PMC Bank.

The PMC Bank was placed under regulatory restrictions by the Reserve Bank of India after a massive scam was unearthed at the bank. The scam related to senior bank officials conspiring to grand loans over and above what it was allowed to.
