Combined Activities For Maximum Learning Camps Started In Rajouri Schools

Rajouri: On the directions of Director School Education, Jammu, Dr.Ravi Shankar Sharma  ‘CAMAL KA CAMP’ (Combined Activities for Maximum Learning) were started in all the 14 summer zones of district Rajouri under the over all supervision of Chief Education Officer Smt. Shailesh Kumari.

Intially the training of 6  Master Trainers (MTs) at district level  and 78 Resource Persons (RPs) at zonal level was conducted on 6th,7th and 8th of June 2022 respectively by the Resource Persons of PRATHAM foundation to train the teaching community to hold these camps successfully.
10 camps in each zone, a total of 140 camps have been established by the ZEOs concerned in which the students from class 4th to 6th classes have been engaged to overcome the learning gap incurred during the COVID-19.

The main objective of these camps is to identify the target children who need special attention and guidance to overcome the lag created during the COVID-19 pandemic lock down.
Parents of the students as well as teachers appreciated and hailed Dr. Ravi Shankar , Director School Education Jammu for initiating such programs and appealed to him to continue with such initiatives in future as well for the benefit of the students.

Chief Education Officer Rajouri Ms. Shailesh Kumari instructed the MTs, RPs and teachers to run the camps with diligence and effectively so that the students can derive the maximum possible benefit and the teaching-learning process can be made more and more fruitful.
