Traffic Police NHW Ramban organized seminar on the topic “RELIGIOUS HARMONY”

Bhaderwah: Traffic Police NHW Ramban today organized a seminar on the topic “RELIGIOUS HARMONY” in Lal Ded Auditorium of university Campus Bhaderwah in connection with the celebration of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ under ‘Civic Action Programme’ in which scores of students from various institutions participated.

The participating students deliberated on the importance of maintaining the religious harmony. The speakers were felicitated with certificates and trophies.

The position holders were rewarded with cash prizes too. Ms Babita of University Campus Bhaderwah got first position, followed by Awais Khurshid of BHSS Bhaderwah and Jaseen Ahmed of GDC Bhaderwah which stood second and third respectively. The event was conducted on the directions of the government and PHQ, under the supervision of SSP Traffic NHW Ramban Sh Shabir Ahmed Malik,JKPS. Sh Aftab Ah Mir, Addl SP Bhaderwah was was the chief guest on the occasion. Others who were present on the occasion were Dr Sandeep Kotwal from GDC Bhaderwah, Sh Kuljit Singh Academic Coordinator Bhaderwah Campus, Sh Gafoor Mir JKPS SDPO, Mr Arif Haleem Khateeb ERO Bhaderwah Campus besides teachers from the participating institutions who were also present.

The Chief guest in his address lauded the effort of participants who in one voice put forward the need of better relations within the communities. The chief guest spoke at length on the topic and exhorted the participants to spread the message of love and mutual respect among different religions to create peaceful atmosphere which leads to prosperity and development of the nation.
The participating students were provided with pick and drop facility and refreshment. The effort of the Traffic Police was appreciated by the audience as well as participating students. The event concluded peacefully with a gathering of about 200. The vote of thanks was presented by Sh Baljit Singh JKPS DySP Traffic Doda/Kishtwar axis.
