Haryana Police have cracked a double murder case with the arrest of two key accused from Ludhiana in Punjab. Carrying a reward of Rs50,000 each, the arrested accused were allegedly involved in over one and half dozen cases of murder, attempt to murder, robbery and loot.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that arrested accused identified as Satte alias Satpal, a resident of Billochpur and Sulledin of Pirgadhi, alongwith other person, fired gunshots  at Mr Santraj, former Chairman Market Committee and his cousin Mr Birpal, which led to their death.
 He said that both Mr Santraj and Mr Birpal were sitting at a shop in village Billochpur, Palwal on December 5, 2017. At the same time, Satte and Sulledin alongwith other person Dhan Singh came down from a Etios car, fired gunshots at both of them and fled away. A case to this effect was registered under various sections of Indian Penal Code at police station Hasanpur in Palwal on December 5, last. Police has already arrested nine other persons in this case.
He said that a team of Crime Investigation Agency, Palwal has arrested both the accused on May 24, 2018 from Ludhiana.  While Satte was involved in 12 criminal cases registered in different police stations, eight criminal cases were registered against another accused Sulledin. Further investigation was in progress, he added.
