Patiala, July 13:Patiala MP and wife of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Preneet Kaur, had a health scare when she fainted briefly during a public event – Plastic clean-up drive – on Saturday morning

Preneet Kaur, who was the chief guest at the event, had a vertigo (a sudden internal or external spinning sensation) just minutes after she had arrived at the event to flag off the Swatchhta Sharmdaan Plastic Clean Up Drive in her hometown.

The event to set off the drive was organised by the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB).

After dizziness, Preneet Kaur slumped onto steps of the stage itself. As soon as she felt dizziness, officials and municipal councilors started fanning her with their handkerchiefs. Preneet Kaur was heard saying, “I felt blackout all of a sudden. I think it is too hot.”

Notably, there was no doctor present at the event, however, security personnel brought a water bottle from her car.

Preneet Kaur, after taking rest for five minutes, flagged off the drive, but, did not participate in the drive and, immediately, left the venue.

Preneet Kaur had suffered a head injury resulting from a fall in June.

Sources informed that Preneet Kaur had gone to her residence – New Moti Bagh Palace – for taking rest before leaving for New Delhi later today.

The officials, at the event, informed that she had been unwell ever since she had the head injury – last month.
